The 2001 season of the Bristol Renaissance festival opened to a warm summer day. ChainMaille Fashions was the most prepared we have ever been with great inventory, a full and experienced crew of stalwart volunteers, and bright and cheerful attitudes.
Saturday night a COLD front came through and Sunday was barely warm enough for chainmail. My dedicated models toughed out the cold and represented us well.
Sales were better than last year despite the fears over the economy ( at this point it is SO hard for me to hold my tongue and not voice my political opinion)
new this year are less expensive and less obscuring haltertops made from my larger rings. These tops need to be lined for mixed or polite company but unlined in the right venue they are totally hot. I hope to take a series of photos this coming week to illustrate the difference in look and price
