Lord Randolph's Pictorial diary of the 2007 Bristol Renaissance Festival week 8 August 25 and 26

The rains continue to flood the mid west this week with south Wisconsin and northern Illinois right at the center of it with record flooding as close as the parking lot. We were spared rain on Friday but got more light rain from 3 to 6 am before opening.

Friday they pumped empty the three lakes in the parking lot and Saturday for almost 3 hours before opening they flew a helicopter low over the parking lot to dry it out a little.
it was still a deadly slow morning ( one dresser came in after noon) but did improve to a slow afternoon. MN had a great day.

Sunday was lovely but also slow in the morning. It became very busy in the afternoon.

Next week I will start contacting my Texas crew

My guess is I will hear from Lester and Sandy and I will need to track down the rest.
